General

Where do you ship to?

Our couriers can deliver anywhere in South Africa with a street address. The standard shipping fee is R120.

How will you ship my order?

We ship via our local couriers (e.g. The Courier Guy). We can also ship your order using either Pep’s PAXI service or to a PUDO box – please let us know if you prefer this.

I'm local, can I collect my order?

We are situated in Graskop, Mpumalanga, if you prefer to collect from us directly, please let us know. We will contact you once your order is ready for collection.

Do you ever have promotions?

Yes, on some of our products and even the web design packages we do have promotions running from time to time. Unfortunately, not on our printing services as they have already been priced as low as possible to ensure that we offer the best prices whilst keeping our business sustainable.

What if there is something wrong with my order?

Yikes! Most of the time, people are thrilled with the printing and products they receive from us. But, as with everything in life, there’s bound to be exceptions – sometimes, despite our best efforts, we make a mistake.

If there is something wrong with your order, or you are just not pleased with what you receive, please email us right away and tell us what’s going on. We’ll do everything we possibly can to fix it and make it right for you.

It’s the responsible thing to do!

Please also have a look at our Returns Policy.

Printing FAQs

Can I get a quote for printing?

Simply go to our Quote Calculator and enter in your printing specifics, click 'Calculate' and like magic it will work out the cost to print. Alternatively, you are welcome to contact us directly at admin@ironpigprojects.com.

What type of printing do you offer?

We are a small operation aimed at providing an affordable option to homeschoolers. The simpler, the better but that being said, we can print just about any PDF! We can print homeschool curriculums, worksheets, eBooks, etc. So long as it is click-and-print ready (i.e. nothing too complicated), we can do it!

We can print in color or black and white, single- or double-sided. We will print the cover of your document in color even for black and white printing.

We can even bind your book/document with a vinyl front cover and card back cover.

** Unfortunately we cannot do art prints, it is best to have these printed at your local print shop. **

For anything more complex, e.g. mixing black and white printing and color printing within one document, please contact us for a quote.

Is there anything that you cannot print?

There are some projects that we are not equipped to produce. Anything that requires cutting, stapling, folding, as well as very complex projects (requiring different kinds of paper in one document, such as cardstock covers and colored paper, or with different settings, etc.) or art prints, are examples of what we are unable to fulfill. We gladly recommend your local printer/stationers for projects that are more complex than click-and-print.

What does 'long-edge' and 'short-edge' flip mean?

“Flipping” is a printing term that means how you want the paper printed double-sided. Most PDFs are a standard, portrait orientation (i.e. long edges on the left and right, short edges on the top and bottom), and some are landscape orientation (i.e. the long edges are on the top and bottom, and the short edges are on the left and right).

This is how you want your document printed on paper when choosing double-sided printing or binding.

  • Portrait orientation + long edge flip = normal book
  • Portrait orientation + short edge flip = notepad (the binding would be at the top of the page.)
  • Landscape orientation + long edge flip = calendar
  • Landscape orientation + short edge flip = a wide book

What sizes do you print?

At this time the largest page we are able to print is the standard A4 size sheets (29.7 x 21cm).

What is the difference between a vinyl cover and a laminated cover?

A vinyl cover is a clear sheet of vinyl that we place on top of the first page of your file. They are also called presentation covers. For our laminated covers, we simply laminate the first page of your file.

We use the vinyl covers as a standard when binding. If you prefer the laminated covers, please let us know.

Where can i upload my PDF?

When placing your order we prefer that you share your pdf file using Google Drive or WeTransfer and send us with the link so we may access it. Of course DropBox or any other file sharing platform is also fine.

Can I upload multiple files (documents) and have them bound together as one book?

Files must be click-and-print ready. To combine multiple files to print and bind together, please visit ilovepdf.com. Alternatively, you are welcome contact us for a quote – there may be additional charges.

When will I get my printing?

Our usuall turnaround time is 1-2 weeks. The turnaround time is the time from when your order is confirmed i.e. payment and PDFs received, to when it is ready to ship. We do our utmost to stay within the these turnaround times, but it is not guaranteed (especially during Stage 6 loadshedding and peak periods.
